Texas A&M CENTURY SINGERS Welcome  About  Director  Join (?)  Media  Events  president's blog 8.30.07 Howdy Ags! I’m Jessica Bierman, this year’s president of the Century Singers. Here's what we're doing this fall semester... Every fall we do a concert with the Brazos Valley Chorale and Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. On November 16 we'll be performing KING DAVID composed by Arthur Honegger. The concert will be held at the First Baptist Church of Bryan at 7:30 pm. Also this semester is our annual Holidy Spirit of Aggieland concert with the other three choirs in the Choral Activities Office. It will be on December 2 at 3:00 pm at the Bryan Civic Auditorium. Outside of rehearsal, we're a big loving family and we have a lot of fun. Every week we have a TNFT (Thursday Night Fun Thing), not necessarily on Thursdays. We dress up, hang out, watch movies, or anything else that strikes our fancy. It's completely optional, but we encourage all members to go! We also have a retreat every semester (also optional), but it's pretty much the most fun thing EVER! We play games, solve mysteries, and get super close!
